Probably last update on this blog...

We've made the transition to Facebook ^_^

Both An and I have our Facebook accounts with (more) regular updates. Don't be a stranger, connect and drop us a line in Facebook. We'll see you soon!

Quick update!

Our apologies for the long delay... (about 10 months?)
As you know, we've moved from Portland to the Netherlands a little less than 1 year ago for An's job at Nike and things got pretty busy.

After a brief stop in Hilversum - we rented a house there for about 7 months - we bought a 3 year old place just outside Utrecht. We're currently finishing a couple of things in that house: lower ceiling with new lights, painting, new curtains, ...

In the mean time, Vincent is growing into a real boy/toddler. He's great fun and as you will see on our Flickr account, he's basically the only person we take pictures of... Vincent had a little trouble being ill before we left the US and has been in different hospitals in Holland and Belgium because of allergies that cause his lungs to have less capacity. Three weeks ago, we found out that he's got a severe allergy to eggwhite and the docter started a low antibiotics cure for him. Since then, he's been great so fingers crossed we make it to the summer without much trouble. Ill or not, he's a busy, beefy little guy that wants to explore everything and has a great time doing so.

An is enjoying her work very much although being 6 months pregnant has its downsides - being very tired for one. Yes, that's right: we're expecting our second baby boy. He's due on April 22nd!

I'm currently working from home three days a week (I run this website: eurogamer.nl) and I spend the other two days with Vincent doing typical toddler stuff: going to the park, looking at the ducks, drawing, ...

We're really glad we found a great house in Utrecht, all our neighbours are our age and have little kids so we can't wait for the summer to meet new people. (Can you tell we still miss Portland and all our friends very much?)

You can take a look at our pictures from the past 12 months. If I find the time, I'll update the descriptions for those as well.

Hope you're all well and all the best for the new year :-)

Hello!

Yes, we've moved to the Netherlands about 3 weeks ago. No, we haven't had any time to write on the blog. Still with rental furniture, our stuff should arrive next week and then another 2 weeks to clear customs in Amsterdam. Vincent is doing great, maybe even starting daycare as of next week. More updates to follow...

From now on, we'll blog in English so our friends in Portland can keep track of what us crazy Belgians are up to in Holland!

Oops!

Not.

We're back and we're going back to Europe! Huh?

Het ziet er naar uit dat we binnen 5 weken voor onbepaalde duur naar Nederland verhuizen. An heeft een nieuwe job bij Nike in Hilversum en ze begint half februari. Yep, busy times ahead of us ;-)

Vincent is as happy as ever.

Happy Birthday, Deef!!
